You miss 100% of shots you don't take.Your're answering to a thread from 2016 and the user you're asking hasn't been online here since 2018. Doubt you'll get a reaction Sorry
I think the correct response would be oops. You miss 100% of shots you don't take.
I was upset as well. I used to like that store. I live on long island nyHow far off the grid do you live? A. macmasteri are probably in the top 3 in terms of global availability and unless you aim for wild caught or F1-5 you must have a really lazy and incompetent LFS or no shipping company willing to deliver to your location.
If you are willing to tell the forum your lication maybe somebody in your area crops up or somebody from your country can guide you to an online source worth their money.
I have several dozens 1-1.5" young MacMasteri. A few are showing signs they are female. DM me if you're interested. I'm based in California. Can you still get these?
I'm interested once you know for sure they are femalesI have several dozens 1-1.5" young MacMasteri. A few are showing signs they are female. DM me if you're interested. I'm based in California.
In usa shipping across country - say california to ny is sometime better than shipping 1/4 of that distance. I'm in the south-east but frequently get fishes from oregon.Just a side note... you're willing to get two specimens of one of the most common species shipped cross-continent?
Guess for Europeans this is just hard to grasp. In usa shipping across country - say california to ny is sometime better than shipping 1/4 of that distance. I'm in the south-east but frequently get fishes from oregon.
I would guess the quality of fish stores in Europe are far superior to many of those in the USA; and that 'mass hobbists' are far more serious about proper fish keeping than those in USA but that is just speculation on my part.Guess for Europeans this is just hard to grasp.
I won't judge the quality of stores, as you also have great ones and we have very poor ones. But I will say thanks to strict regulations in animal keeping in general, people have to research more before setting up their first tank and that translates in to more seriousness indeed. Still we also have sales-hungry retailers promoting the same industry lies as yours and kids with spongebob huts in their tanks. Maybe less of a common thing, but it exists.I would guess the quality of fish stores in Europe are far superior to many of those in the USA; and that 'mass hobbists' are far more serious about proper fish keeping than those in USA but that is just speculation on my part.
