The fish is this picture was a female cacatuoides "Pentacle Red" (yeah, I made up that name) from some time ago. She was very lively and always wanted to breed even when there was no male around. In this picture, she was just put in a new tank... alone, but already took a liking of a flower pot and guarding it (even when there was no other fish in the tank). She's long gone but I still have hundreds of her descendents. She's a great-great-grandmother to the current generation of my cacatuoides.
