Currently bought a few fish, the shop owner said they are Apistogramma Hoignei. I'm not so sure and wonder what they are. Thanks!

Male I guess:

They certainly are a macmasteri-complex species. I can't say if they are A. hoignei or not. Juveniles of the species-complex are similar. The caudal spot is a bit different from a typical A. hoignei's, more like A. macmasteri (but not 100% positive). I'd wait to see if the males develop a black stripe above the red stripe on the caudal fin.

I agree with you..
My guess is that the fish in pic 1, and the fish outside the "box" in pic 2+4 is a/the female !! (No visable blueish pattern on gillcovers/head + shorter and more broad black stripes in the pelvicfins.. and less pattern on analfin compared to the one in the plastic-container... and the yellowness ofcourse!!:):))

The "male" in pic 3 have more blue color on the head + longer and more colorful/red pelvicfins + more pointy dorsalfin... and also the beginning of visable patterns in the analfin..

One more female-thing that may be a difference is the more smoother edges/blunter/less elongated spines in the dorsalfin ..often clearly visable in the first 1-5 spines ...many females of various Apistos often have this..... ( pic 4 )

Hello, here is another fish i need to ID..... is from another shippment.. I don't think it's a macmaster species.. is more blueish in the cheek and also the fins.. at first i'm thinking its a male when i bought from shop but I'm starting to think is a female because of the rounded dorsalfin.. it's size is about 3.5cm - 4cm
