A very nice pair, Mark!! :)

huascar is one of my favourites even though this fish was,
surprisingly, not popular and not well-respected in Hong Kong...

Thanks Blue,
I cannot understand why this species is not very popular in Hong Kong...Is it perhaps because they are and have been very widely available over there and are therefore treated like some of the more common species that are available.
Sun-Pin has only very recently been imported into the UK,maybe a couple of shipments to date, and they are therefore commanding slightly higher prices than the more common species.

Hmm. yes, it could be a reason, Mark, as there're a lot of
tank-bred imported from the mainland China. On the other hand,
among all apistos in the caca group, Hong Kong's hobbyists
like the A. sp. Black-chin (peru) most even though this species
is even more widely distributed! Somehow, preferences are
difficult to understand while sun-pin is personally a fish i love
very much. I still remember how difficult it took me to find
a good pair back to 2004... i think it fully deserves the attention of
hobbyists.

Hi
Yes, they are very beautiful! I hope to see them in Polish LFS soon:biggrin:
Are they easy or hard to keep/breed?
