hi all,
just a quick question.
can anubias grow up out of the water?
they've almost reached the top of my tank and i was wondering if i could just take the lids off and let them keep growing up out of the tank?
tank is 18' deep and the anubias are growing on driftwood and ornaments.
tank is starting to come together  8) 8)
if they can i'll get a few more and cover the back of my tank with them!
thanks every1

hey adam, great idea. that should look cooool! i think that most aquatic plants can grow emersed, (leaves out of the water) as they do in their natural envionments. whichever way it works out, please get back to us, huh?

i sure will rick
1 is about 2' from the surface, another is about 4' and the other 1 is about 5-6' from the surface.
the only worry i have is if my G. Surinamensis and Corydoras will try to jump out if there's no lids on the back of the tank.
thanks
