I have a 72g, had plants in it a year ago, got rid of them. Now just decorations and artificial. Had some BBA with the plants. now about a year later the BBA has overtaken everything horribly. Where should i start? It is like carpet on everything, thick as heck........
well i don't have any pics right now of them together. But i did post a video of them online, check it out, let me know.... And i thought sand was not good in aquariums cause it develops pockets of gasses or something bad like that. My substrate is all gravel small size...
Ok. Should i have a gravel bottom or just bare? Would some red eye tetras be ok to put in there also? And also my ph where i live is always higher like 7.8 or so, maybe thats preventing the breeding also? I just added some peat to my cannister to help lower it, but its a slow moving thing i see...
I have had a pair of a. cauct. for over a year now. every now and then the male flashes for her and wags his tail towards her. How do i know when they are ready. He chases her all the time too. Should i put them in a separate tank to breed now? Or when should I? Is there any other signs they are...
I heard that around 6500k is best for plants. But i have read numerous articles where people run the typical marine lights like a 18000k and an actinic bulb to grow. So what gives, will the 18k and act. bulbs grow plants also. Which is the best bulbs to run. I have 4 flourescent tubes running 2...
sorry for such a small pic. It will not let me post any big pics. It says over file limit size. Its a 72g recently setup. 4 baby angels, pair small rams, pair small a. cauctiodes<sp?, 3 corys. Planning on keeping only a pair of angels eventually. Tank is cycled. Am-0, ni-0, na-10. The lastest...
I have noticed a whiteish spot on the forehead of my male ram. Now it looks sunken in like a peice fell out of the middle, kinda. Also on his side upper back it looks like some of his scales are missing or something. Its been like a week since i noticed it, and the spot/hole looks worse...
question, i have a 72g setup, angels, pair of rams, some corys, some tetra's. Been looking to get some agazzi's, found a lfs has only males left. Would it be ok to get a pair of males, no females?? Or would that be bad? I really want some its very hard to find any locally. Please help...
