    New pickup; wild A.Bitaeniata :o

Little update; All 4 of them seem to be doing well. The male is still gaining weight and looks healthy now! :) He's even begun trying to initiate mating, the females don't seem too interested though and this erupted into a little fight I just witnessed. No serious damage done, but I see a...

I understand, I've taken the pictures with my iPhone, I'll try to get hold of a more versatile camera or adjust the images to represent what they look like to my eyes. Thanks anyway though, hope to provide you with better photos soon :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My Apistogramma agassizii

Hmm. Tempted to show my older agassizi female which is almost behaving like a male right now, alone in a tank with ember tetra, Cory pygmeus a otocinclus. She's probably a formidable force for any male I put in there. I'm trying to find a large (full grown) Male right now that would be able to...

    New Software for Apistogramma.com!

I'm just really happy I can use my iPhone now to keep up to date on all posts, and react, either with advice or just a friendly comment. I haven't actually seen the new web environment as of yet, but I'm sure it will look functional enough at least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    A. Bitaeniata

Hi. As some of you know, I've recently purchased some wild caught Bitaeniata. They're small still, so actual IDing might prove difficult. I was wondering if any of you experts out there will be able to give me more info on the variety/location etc of these fish. The fish are quite white...

    New pickup; wild A.Bitaeniata :o

Little update; The females, though small, look well. The male; still a bit skinny, still clamping his fins a bit, but I'd swear he's gaining weight and getting more comfortable; his fins are starting to relax more. All of them are pretty much white, light coloured with a tiny bit of yellow...

    Apisto Tankmates?

Personally decided on Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi (black neon) for my 180litre and Hyphessobrycon amandae (ember tetra) in the 125litre. Haven't bred anything (yet) though, but I do like both of these species. If needed I might move a breeding pair to one of the spare tanks though...

    New pickup; wild A.Bitaeniata :o

Couldn't read your whole post in this app; it wasn't the skinny one that died, it was the one that actually looked healthy and was bigger. The skinny one seems active, and dominant towards females aswell, displaying fins, chasing them, same behaviour my old agassizii male displayed, more or...
