How does one tell the difference between like double red, triple red, and super red?
@Mike Wise why “red” if it’s yellow?Although the color isn't super intense, I'd label it a Triple Red. As for females, this is a problem since Super/Quad Reds have Double and Triple Reds, too., so you never know. Just pick the most intensely pigmented female and hope for the best (and that it truly is a female).
Thanks.Because for yellow one would have to coin a new name. The lines bred and known as yellow lack the black in the fins. Mike went by which group of lines these seem to come from.

Exactly, the same carotenoid pigments <"from the same source">. It isn't only the fins that are pale in the OP's photo, it is the whole fish, even though he is obviously healthy.Makes sense. Like Flamingos, eh?
