I have one guestion! I recently got hold of a brownish-red Trifasciata pair. I simply wonder what do you call this color variant, maybe it is another species? :?:

Rikard,

WELCOME TO THE FORUM

Are you talking about a red-tailed trifasciata?
This may mean A. maciliensis, which has a red species form. It is a very similar fish to trifasciata and also goes by the name mamour or mamore.
Where did you get this fish? Maybe if we could get a look at it we can give you a better answer. Can you take a pic?

There is a fish in the hobby today that is sold under the name A. sp. "Rio Mamore" Red that looks like the fish you are asking about.
