I haven't been active here quite some time due to busy at work. I am Henk, from netherlands. Age 54 years (yep, really an old man) and keeping tropical fish since i was about 8 years. Dwarf cichlids are favorit, amongst them of course apisto's, mikrogeophagus and others. This moment concerning dwarfs, i have a. amapa (only females), barlowi (only female), dicrossus filamentosus (couple) and maculatus (group of about ten), nannancara anomala (couple), mikrogeophagus ramirezi (about ten), altispinosa (1:2). Soon i hope to get some amapa males, group of and a. rubrolinata and group of a. cinilabra.
Of course there are other fish species, amongst them a very large group of aph. mentos, a turkish killi (subtropical). I don't keep bigger fish anymore for years because i think that little fish/dwarfs) can given relatively more space with more natural behaving and with big fish that's not possible. When a fish swims with one tail movement the entire length of the tank i find it pathetic.
Well i hope to interact with you somewhat longer than last time. (Sorry for my english, but i think you all understand me..)
