I have a new pair of apistogramma, recently added to an established tank, female to doing great but the male on the second day showed signs of mouth disease. I've been dosing tank with Melafix for 4 days now, the white growth on his mouth has subsided but he's not looking to good. What should I do.

You need to put your sick fish in a quarantine tank. I never put fish into an established tank without a long period of quarantine. Quarantine tanks can be as simple as a plastic shoe box. Do a search here about setting up a quarantine tank.
