One of my males is not eating for approx. 2 weeks, is very weak, pale colors and much of time he is hiding into a coconut cave. No external signs, no wounds, ... What can I do?
Ph=6,6
Kh=5
Temp=79
Need more information. Water quality (NH3, NO2, NO3), water hardness, tank size/decor, species of the male, tank mates, how long you have had the fish, what you're feeding. All would really help.
NH3 - I don't have a test
NO3 = max 10
NO2 = 0
GH = 7
Kh = 5
Ph = 6,6

100 L tank: 4-5 echinodorus plants, oak leafs, alder fruits, some sphagnum moss, drift wood, 3 rocks. The tank is started almost 9 months ago, now I have 2 males and 4 females (cockatoo), this male has 3-4 months in the tank. A week ago I started adding RO water, I change every week 30-40 L (50 % RO+50 % tap water). I have this fish since he was an adult, but I don't think that oldness is the problem.
Two weeks not eating is bad news for a dwarf cichlid. He could have some internal infection or organ failure, and chances are he's not going to recover. I would move him to a separate container so that if he dies your other fish wont start eating the dead body, which might be loaded with pathogenic bacteria or parasites.
