I would choose a inexpensive light that’s intended for low tech tanks (not as bright) and can take a dimmer to reduce the intensity to 10-30% of the max. I wouldn’t spend on many colors of LED, as you only really need white.

Something that is neutral in colour; the new blade is pretty nice but way more expensive than what you need to spend - i've not used any of the inexpensive hygger or similar so i can't really comment on their balance; fluval tends to be way too yellow so probably not them - colour balance really has an impact on 'viewing' pleasure.

I modified all my 4' plastic rain gutter fluorescent to LED tubes (less expensive to run and no more heavy ballasts!). They are 5000°K daylight lamps; very bright, but all my tanks have a thick cover of floating plants.
