I got him from the LFS labeled wild apistos. He was the last fish they had in the tank. Looked somewhat like an Agassizi when he was in thier tank, but got him home and he looked a lot different. He started to unclamp his fins and I noticed that he had a lyretail, not the lanceolate tail of an agassizi. All the coloration appeared once he was in my tank for a couple days.
He doesn't seem to like the camera so none of the pictures are great. Any help with his ID will be appreaciated.
Thanks,
Geoff
