Is there a 'warm' water species of oto ?

I know there are a lot of different species of fishes sold as oto; and i think most are in that 72-77 range; but is there a species found in warmer waters - around 80-88 ? Something suitable for a discus tank (though some folks would suggest that is a bad idea because they sometime develop a taste for discus slime).

Factually you'd only need to get them from any equatorial population originating east of Peru. Wasn't it Mike that once posted here Otocinclus in the North American trade are from peruvian populations?

Unfortunately the ones i'm getting are Otocinclus caxarari which i believe prefer 74-79 range. I wonder if they will like leaves.

Pretty much all of them go for leaf litter. The biofilms are their jam.
Well the aquarium has been setup for only a week so i'm concern there isn't enough actual biofilm for them. I could put them in the aquarium that has been setup for 6 months but rather they went into this other aquarium.

Allright. They have to go into the seasoned tank. No chance of survival without excessive supplemental feeding in the newly setup tank.
