How could i make a Apistogramma Macmasteri redtail biotope?

I got a young pair of Apisto. Macmasteri redtail and i actually will let them breed an actually take all the fish out but i want to make the tank just for them once i know how to do it? Any help works thanks

They aren't biotopes as such, but they create suitable conditions for the fish.

If you want a biotope have a look at the pictures on <"TomC's travel pages">. They are in Peru, but give you an idea.

In truth, my guess is that your Macs are a domestic strain, so there is no actual natural biotope for this strain. Something like Darrel's tank will be ideal for your fish.
