Hi Everyone been meaning to introduce myself for a while!
Names Susan and i live in Scotland, I've been keeping fish on and off for about 13 years now,
I originally keep a mixed community tank which housed a mixture of fish from around the world, but i learnt the hard way that certain fish do not like others etc.
I purchased a large 300litre tank which was home to two Turtles while I continued to dabble in keeping specific breeds of fish, i then moved the turtles to a larger tank and bought my first Discus.
I began growing a small collection of plants within the tank and around 2years later managed to get a small group of wild Altums (i love these fish!!)
Moving house required me to down size and i tried my hand at some harder water fish, dwarf cichlids from lake Tanganyika the Neolamprologus multifasciatus Shell Dwellers. these wee guys were great fun to watch and breeding every other month provided lots to enjoy but I've decided to go back to where my heart is the south American fish and the appistogramma.
Nearly forgot, have three amazing dogs too!!
