Hello all, I've bought my first pair of dwarf cichlids, specifically gold rams. I have a 20h tank that is planted with 3 SAE, 7 cherry shrimp, I'm wondering if it would be fine if I added another pair?

I would not add another pair of cichlids... but a small group of tetras or pencil fish would be a good addition.

Having a planted tank, you may want to add a few otocinclus, they keep to themselves, and do a wonderful job on algea.

The day after I posted, my pair laid eggs, which was a first for me. The next day, of course, the eggs were gone but while they were here, it was cool to see the male defend the nest, whenever he wasn't eating the eggs, lol, the females' belly colored up a nice pink color. Really these Gold rams are very beautiful, I would llke to eventually get a larger tank so I can have more, right now these rams are the most interesting fish I have ever owned.
