Female of Orange Flash Cacatuoides

Hi All,

Could you please help me.

My two Orange Flash Cacatuoides females do not look like they used to..., i.e. they are not yellow anymore for more than 3 months and look like males - very bright with long red spine and dorsal fins and tale. My male died, I guess it was due to his age, he was more than 3 years old. However females are younger, I think they are about 2 years old.
I located a new male (~1 year old) in a adjacent tank, so the biggest female can see him, but she has not changed her colours and look like him :). She is not aggressive to him neither excited. Questions are:

1. If females look like males and not yellow anymore, are they still able to breed?
2. If so, should I move a new male to the female's tank?

Thanking you in advance for any help.
