I have a pair of A. cacatuoides double red. I've had them for 6 months. Not sure how old the are. They work together patrolling the tank but I have not seen signs of breeding yet. What age/size should I start expecting courting? They are in a community tank with green fire & ember tetras and a couple pymy cories.

Hi,

From the photos they appear to be of reasonable size suitable for breeding. Others may have a better idea.

Are there hiding spots / caves etc. in the tank to serve as suitable spawning sites?
