Hello, i am starting a new tank and i would like to use a black background.
But I am a bit worried about a mirror effect causing stress to the apistos ("enemy" to fight)
Does anyone have experience about that?

I haven't had that occur. I'd expect it more from a blank glass.

All my tanks have a black background. No problems.

Same here - and I have some black background tanks that are probably older than you that have produced many, many apistos over the years.
