Apistogramma sp. Bretibinden? Maybe cf.?

It's F1 fish, parents were A. iniridae by catch from Colombia.

I'm wondering about shape of body- is more robust than at my previous Kurzlappen-Breitbinden male. Also membranes of dorsal fin are thiner, not so impressive.

Wow, it does look like the A. sp "Breitbinden" (A164 on page 77). Looks like you got two males. Any picture of a female?

For me second fish is 100% female. I don't have better photo:

but that fish shows female features.

Unfortunately my fishes don't show red markings on head.

Nice pair! The more robust body shape is probably due to them being F1. I sometime find the tank raised fish being more robust than their WC parents due to how they are raised such as tank space, diet, etc.

I think that wethumbs is correct. Captive fish, like humans in industrialized nations, tend to be heavier. They just have more to eat and don't have to physically work as hard to get something to eat.
