How do you care and breed them? I have bloodworms and some pellets I can give them as well as some brien shrimp. I plan on getting a pir from apistodave.com and I also want to breed them. Once i breed them I have a 72 gallon growout tank for them. How do I care for the fry and would a 10 gallon suffice for spawning? I veliece the fry require immaculate water quality and tons of water changes/feedings. My plan to induce spawning is drain the spawn tank 50% for a few days with little filtration and then fill it up later to mimic the dry/rainy season. I also plan on adding some dried oak leaves as well.
