Apisto Ortegai!

Hey all,, I’ve always been an African guy but recently got into south/central stuff.. I gotta say, I have def been sleeping on the Beauty of some of these tropical fish. I started out this 20 gal with 3x pristella tetra
1x guppy that was given to me by a friend who didn’t want it and was just gonna bring it back to the chain store he got it at..
And 2x mystery snails..
I have been cycling this tank for a while getting the plants going and what not, keeping water parameters as perfect as I could to introduce some apisto.
Today was the day my male and female apisto ortegai came in!.. they seem very happy so far, They are out and about and have already eaten with the other fish as well as foraging the bottom all day on the same day of being overnighted. Which makes me very happy:)..
I’m very excited about this tank and keeping these fish,, it’s my first planted tropical tank.. any advice or tips are greatly appreciated, On the plants or the fish, right now I use leaf zone weekly for the plants..
thank you in advance
