A. macmasteri color morph II

Does anyone know anything about the origins of this color morph? I hope it is not one of those that is the result of breeding w/ A. viejita. Also is this the variation that I see called "Red Hood" or "Red Neck"?

P.S. I am not seeing how I can attach a photo of the fish in question, so if someone could help me out, I would appreciate it.

A. macmasteri color morph II

I am not sure what this is, but I assume that you mean A. viejita II. So many of the viejita/macmasteri color-forms in the hobby are crosses that I would assume it doesn't much matter whether one is called viejita II or macmasteri II. Yours might well be the "Red Neck" (or Red shoulder) variety.

For now, you will have to have a pic that has a URL (downloaded to the internet already) to post it. You can simple put image tags on that URL or link to the location of the pic. We are working on a section for members to download their images to the main site and then link from there to the Forum. More as it happens.
