I have a little experience with apistos and ever since my first pair I am was hooked. I just would like to know some peaceful apistos. Known to be peaceful types. Thanks
I been into apistos ever since I found out they are very good looking and small sized, which is a couple of years. I was wondering what types of species are the most aggressive and at the other end the most peaceful. I know sometimes it depends on the actual fish than the species. Thanks I like...
Thanks
I actually had some A. trifasciata a while back and they were great little guys. I had two males and four females, didnt see much aggression. I did have a bad problem that wipe out all but one female and they were expensive. I could not find any wrong with them from just looking perfect...
I have this beautiful very peaceful male with two females and was wondering if I could find another apisto with somewhat the same temperament. I have a planted 30 long tank. I was thinking about some wild cacatuiodes that the lfs has.
I am interested in some of these except dorsigera which I do have in a tank with a pr. of borelli and they get along great. I didnt know they were so peaceful its great. Thanks
I just saw some labeled as such but would like to know for sure since they are rare and would like to have some. I would like to know how to tell they are ortmanni.
Well they were just coloring up and hadnt even develop their fins when I aquire them. I will say it might been closer to like 6 months but were doing well until one after the other started getting sick. First it was a male who got very dark and swimming differently. Then after a day a female...
I have two pairs of triafisciata for a little over 8 months and were doing great. I found a female dead a day ago. So I actually took a water sample to the lfs and they said my water is very good. Now a male turned up dying. My other fish are good with no deaths, have boraras, ember tetras, L305...
I wanted to know if these types all have the lyretail and basically do they show it little points at a young age or does it grow out from a rounded one. Thanks
