    Even though they are small they require lots of space and leaf litter and driftwood along with plants to break line of sight. The female Cacatuoides is patrolling the most of the 20 long lol.

    Just did a little research and the name has to do with the domestic strain. Are captive bred Apistogramma frowned upon on this Forum?

    I'm so happy I chose the 20 long because my female Apistogramma is patrolling over half of the aquarium protecting fry.
