I am hoping to get some suggestions on how to deal with the following scenario in my 40 gallon breeder tank that houses a pair of Apisto Elizabethae:
My female Apisto has been guarding eggs in her cave for about a week now. The PH of my water is 6.5, so there is no chance of them...
My Apisto has a small growth right on the top of his head, just behing his eyes. It started as a speck a few weeks ago and has grown larger and is a little bit fuzzy. It looks as though it has broken through his skin.
Is this hole in the head disease? The fish is still eating, chasing...
my 2 year old apisto seems to have gone blind, or close to it, over the past week. she is not able to eat at this point. she now has a small white pupil in each eye.

My apisto eliza had the typical male "spade" type tail, forming 2 points on both the top and bottom of his tail.
