Hey guys so i own 2 apistos male orange flash female double red they get along great (no breeding yet) along with some candy cane teras, pygmy corys and otos in a 10 gallon long. Anyways, long story short my apistos are becoming kinda picky eaters, really only pugging out when i break out the blood worms... i bought hikari vibra bites A.) because of the red worm shape And B.) i figured it would make them and my tetras look better
They wont eat the vibrabites completely until the water softens them up, so they usually are an after snack for them i guess...
But i’m witnessing my male apisto poop and it. Looks like the hikari vibra bite is just coming straight out of him, like he didnt even digest it...
Is this just turning his poop red? Or are vibra bites a no-go?

Welcome to the sight. He is pooping the color of his food, if it's coming out, it is probably mostly digested.
