Hello,
I have been admiring apistogramma borelli for a while now and was wondering if i can keep them in my community aquarium. I have red rili shrimp propalby over a hundred (te cull from my other tank) because they breed so wel. There are alot of plants. I dont mind if they would eat some shrimp babies or a shrimp but i don’t want to see my schrimp getting hunted all the time. Is it possible together? It is 25 gallons, other tank mates are platys, bristlenose, guppy, danios, kardinal tetras.

Thanks in advance.

The shrimp will be brought to a lower population density, as the small ones will be gone soon. Same as the small guppies.

But the other tankmates... In a twenty gallon it will soon be quite crampted. How many each? At least no other real bottom dwellers.
What are your water parameters? (Hardness & pH) Livebearers prefer harder water and higher pH, Apistogramma soft and acidic. Bristlenose and cardinals are no problem, though. And I've never seen danios and Apistogramma in the same tank. So there I can't give advice.
