    Mike, I think it's because the picture quality is poor you say the fish is A. sp. Nanay. I'm pretty sure that is a form of A. cf. alacrina. Julien.

    I agree with Rolo and Blueblue, the 2nd fish is A. cf. eunotus "Orange Tail" and the first is a female of the same specie.

    I think that it is a different specie that the "Steel Blue". It seems to be the fish which Römer call A. sp. aff. taeniata few years ago.

    I think that your first fish is a A. iniridae female and the second is A. sp "Breitbinden" maybe a female. Mix of the 2 species often arrives:wink:.

    You have two different species. The first one is A. uaupesi (male) and the other is A. sp. "Putzer" (male) :wink:.

    With the last pic it 's clearly a young male:wink:. Look at the unpaired fins and the lyretail !!! The first dorsal spines are too much developed to be a female. The ventral fins are blue and not really black like a female. You just have to wait a little and you will see it growing and...

    Zagon, With your new pics, it is definitly A. sp "Miua" and you have a pair :wink:.

    To me A. sp "Miua". Look at the rounded and vertically white banded tail ;).

    I think that is a male A. nijsseni. The tail should be blue if it has A.panduro and it is yellow.

    Hi Andrew, The female seems to be a female A. panduro and not A. sp "Zwilling". ....... and I think that fry are hybrids between the 2 species :frown: .
