yeah, we did. my point was just that if each dose was supposed to alter the water the same, my bottle would run out long before it treated 1,600 gallons.
i just mixed some pure R/O with HALF a dose of acid buffer and got almost identical results that you got at full strength. I'm wondering if the recommended dosage on my bottle is a misprint. It just doesn't add up....mine says it's 250 grams and treats 1600 gallons and everyone elses says 300...
I have an R/O unit but I was lowering my pH to induce my panduro to spawn. It was at 90ppm but the pH was still near 7 and I was getting nothing out of them. I brought the pH up from 3.1 to 5.0 over the last couple days. Last night they started their mating ritual and the female has since...
I posted a while back about dosing with acid buffer and my fish seemed to be burned and eventually died. I assummed it was because I poured the buffer directly into the tank instead of mixing it in with a water change. I decided to try again and added it at half the recommended dose with a...
he was pretty young when he had them and there was no evidence of defects at the time. So I'm assuming that he passed this trait down to all his offspring......are they automatically all culls??
I have a male cacatuoides that has developed a kinked spine. I have a couple of his clutches growing out and was wondering what the chance was that his offspring will have the same problem??
would this air pump be enough to run 30 10-20gallon tanks??

1:your breeding tank setup sounds pretty good, but I would try 80-82degrees instead of 85. 2:Sand may help but I haven't found it necessary......mine always layed in a tipped over flowerpot in a barebottom tank. 3: it was more likely that your water was too hard and they went bad(fungus),so...
I've had this tank set up and running for a little over a month and I have a severe algae problem. It is green hairlike algae over an inch long covering the glass and all of my broad leaved plants. It started about 2 weeks ago and now most of my stem plants, which were growing great before...
I ordered a couple of plant packages from azgardens.com and they were just incredible. These are the nicest plants I've ever gotten! I got the easylife 125 and the southamerican 25. They were real friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend them to anyone...
well, after having thought I killed my female panduro with acid buffer, she completely recovered and surprised me with a clutch of eggs!. I watched her deposit them in the cup of a plastic plant about 20 minutes ago. Is there anything I should do to ensure that they hatch?
thanks
