These are normally used in areas of high pollution as they really grow well in those conditions, I wonder if they were either contaminated by same or had absorbed same via their pores.
I use Beech ( Fagus sp. ) or Oak (Quercus sp.) and find these are good and don't lay flat...
Thanks for the info, I love Nannostomus beckfordi, really sultry colours on the males and I love their hovering effect. I want to have plants but someone said subdued lighting is best for Apistos, any ideas?
