    The best answer I have heard was...you'll know when they breed...bolivian rams are hard to sex, so once their papilla is out, then you will know. -Joel

    DIY Caves

    The most natural approach to caves that I have witnessed were coconut shells cut in half, with a little opening at the base. makes a great cave, and it is easy to hide. Just attatch some javamoss and no one will notice it :) -Joel

    For CO2 I recommend the Hagen system. IMO it is the best. Their diffuser is what takes the cake. I think those little tanks are great little things, and make perfect nanos. :)

    Exactly, although it quotes in the book I have that they were bred in tap water. The water had a pH of 7.5 and carbonate hardness of 12 degrees, and total I think 14 degrees. That is quite hard for a dwarf S/A cichlid. And in the book the author got fry from it. So...can it work??? -Joel
