I have 2 male apistos and I’ve noticed 1 always chases away the other quite often. To me it looks like the more aggressive one wants the whole bottom tank territory for himself. Can I set my tank up (40 gal) in a way where they each claim a side? I’m starting to feel that the less aggressive...
Great info! I’m not trying to breed, I am going for a display tank. I have 2 apistos which I thought were a pair, but I’m realizing one was a false female so I have 2 males in a 40 gal, besides them chasing each other here and there, they get along just fine. I don’t want to do a full community...
I know most apistos get a bit territorial, but I’m wondering what other bottom dwellers can do well with them? I was thinking otos or Cory’s to stock in my tank.. any other suggestions do help! Thanks
