guys,relax...you didn't upset me;)no just kidding but i bought some minerals today and i'll start adding when the next waterchange takes place...what food could help to create a varying diet? as i said i give life food ad frozen as well and some dry food from dennerle...should i add something...
no i didn't measure ammonia...the tank is now up and running for four months now and the first fish(the nanno's)came in 2 months ago..

about 2 months ago i bought a group of nannostomus morthenthaleri but now i've lost 4 specimens in the last month,they all suffered 'dropsy' as they call in english? they all looked like a pinecone and swollen stomach...what...
Well this fish were bought as sp red face-yawasyacu...i didnt agree with it...my thougts were going out to perhaps a.papagei or pebas complex...
and does anybody has a picture of a.yawasyacu?

thanks for the advice guys,i have floating plants available,not pistia but limnobium...these will be allright to i guess...i've measured the tds today and i was 35 so that would be allright...
tthanks for the input rr16,and i was not intending to keep similar species together...it will be a group of indeed available species at the time..
someone has any thougts about the nannostomus entering the tank after 3 weeks and what apisto's do not thrive well in a group?
mike thanks for the backup...i'll add some small pieces of wood and them double the layer of leaves in my tank and which apisto i don't wanna keep as a group in my tank,any thougts on that mike?
