Are wild Rams generally more colorful and robust than their modified counter-parts? How can you get the best coloration in the next generation?

Wild Microgeophagus ramirezi

Dear Raul,

It's probably a question of personal taste, but I prefer to wild or wild type Microgeophagus ramirezi to their commercially bred/developed counterparts.

As for healthy, well-colored F1 fish, a good and varied diet, coupled with frequent partial water changes, is always the best recipe. :D

Good luck!
