Which apisto is this?

Hi,
My name is Elise and I live in the Netherlands.
I am new to this forum.
We have a freshwatertank and last week we bought a couple apistogramma's. I am not sure if it's the viejita or the macmasteri (though the are sold to me as viejita).
Can anyone tell me?
And can anyone tell me if the apisto on the picture in the link below is a male or a female:

Hi and welcome to the forum. That, I do believe, is a male tank raised strain of macmasteri. Mike (who knows way more than me) says you seldom see viejita in the hobby.

Good luck with them. They are a very striking fish.

Bev is correct. The fish is a beautiful young male A. macmasteri.
