I acquired a pair of wild caught trifisciata but not sure if they are both female.
The one I'm hoping is a male is very young, about the size of a neon tetra and the other seems to definitely be a female. She's larger and becoming yellow.
I just wondered if anyone would be kind enough to let me know if the juvenile 'male' may actually be a male.
Also, is a three banded apisto and a trifasciata the same thing...is 'three banded' what trifisciata means?
The first images are the 'Male" the female is more yellow.
Many thanks
