EB gene is incomplete dominant. Crossing EB to GBR will get GBR with a touch of EB on the body. The new powder blue is by crossing electric blue to golden and selecting the lightest blue and cross it again with an unrelated gold. However, I am not sure they would breed true as powder blue ram.

Hi, thanks for the info. eggs all gone now but thay were young fish in a QT tank,it was a large spawn.I will leave them to it and try again now they are their own tank and maybe pull the eggs next time .Never heard of a powder blue, so Googled it and they just look like EBR's to me. Anyway i will have a go and see what they produce-Thanks
