Scored 4 pairs of wild Pelvicachromis taeniatus 'Nyete' from Jeff over at AquaticClarity.com. Let's just say that the fish have settled in nicely. Thanks Jeff!

The most mature pair spawned on June 24th and I had 20+ free swimming fry yesterday.

On another note, what is the substrate you have there? Is it just a dark sand?

The free swimming fry are 5 days old now. Also captured some of the other fish I have in the tank with them.

Was finally able to do a count on my 6 day old free swimming fry today. There are 38 of them! Seems to be a high number for this pairs first spawn together! Also, I'm very impressed with their growth. Their diet consists of Repashy SuperFood Soilent Green. I'll be introducing the Repashy Spawn & Grow as soon as I receive it mid week.
