I recently put a young pair of a.nijsseni in my 87 gallon south america aquarium. Its an aquarium originally set up for discus with the next water parameters: GH 6 PH 7 KH 3, NO 0 , I use peat and oak leaves to create soft water and the tea colored water. There are lots of hiding places and pieces of driftwood.
Yesterday I saw the female guarding some eggs!
They are a dark red/brownish color but what to do next?
