Is refrozen food safe?

Hello, I am pretty sure that the Hikari frozen tubifex worms and blood worms at the local shop were allowed to thaw and then were frozen again since the package is lopsided. It looks as if it was just thrown back into the freezer and it refroze in a strange shape. Since the unopened packages were allowed to thaw at some point, do you think they would be safe to feed my fish? I would just go to another shop if I could but this is the only place in town that sells frozen foods.

I would not use frozen that had been thawed and refrozen, I think it would be spoiled by that time.

Ask the lfs if that has happened. I know my lfs had the freezer unplugged when doing some work at the store, and then forgot to plug it back in. They threw it all away.

I had that once and its not good anymore.
Most of the fish won't eat it either.
I'm strongly recommend you not to use it. You have to trough it away its not suitable foor fishconsumption anymore.

Thanks, after hearing the advice, I think I will pass on the refrozen food. Instead I am going to try to culture some daphnia for an additional source of food.

The health of the fish comes on the first place.
