Hello all! I'm new here and new to apistogrammas. However, I'm not new to aquariums in general. I have two and my son has one. The two apistos in question are in my sons tank. I just got these two little guys the other day from the same online place I get most of our fish from but since they were sold as assorted apistogrammas I'm not exactly sure what I got. Which is fine because I wasn't looking for anything in particular. They're still young, only about 1 1/4" long and I'm not sure how much their color changes with age. Any help would be appreciated!

Juveniles are often hard to ID, especially members of the regani-lineage (regani-, alacrina-, & macmasteri-group species) that all look about the same. Give them some time to mature and check in again.

sorry I pushed the wrong button. Anyway, I had a feeling that they might be a bit too young to tell but thanks for the info that gives me something to go on.
