Sorry, if this has already been discussed, I'm not very good at forums.
These are offered as an alternative to live brine shrimp for fry older than 2 weeks. Any experiences? I feed them and the fish seem to like them. Any adverse side effects known to anyone?

Never tried them. They don't move so they don't get the fry's attention like live bbs. Hatching eggs is easy and cheaper than decapsulated eggs

I've used them, they were fine, but as Mike says you need to feed them with something that moves like Banana/Walter/Micro worms, or Moinia, to stimulate the fry feeding response.

I've been using <"Freeze Dried "Arctic Copepods"> instead recently, but I'm not sure it makes much difference.

I use them a lot, but to adults and juveniles who are more than 1 month old.
Just remember to soak them at least 15-20 minutes prior to dosing! These eggs are completely dry and swell when they absorb water. If this happens inside the stomachs of small fry, they will simply die.
But of course I give all my fishes newly hatched BBS every day, when I'm home...
