    Am I seeing Ick ?

Started treating my west african tank for Ick. Raised the temp to 81 (so far) treated tank with Metronidazole and did a little gravel vacuum. I think I am seeing white specs, possible moving on the drift wood. Am I "bugging" or is it possible to see the Ick on the wood ?

    Perfect Set-up for Westies

Just bought a 33 long (cool tank, 48" long). Want to set up for a pair of Pelvichromis and a pair of nannochromis. Is there a particular type of gravel that is used. Is there one that helps to keep the PH low ? Any other important details anyone can share ? Thanks !
