If your water parameters are correct, then maybe you could try moving stuff around in the tank for a new spawn site, which would also change territories..but that's my two cents
Hey Kevin,
Welcome to the forum, sounds like some good setups my friend! Good luck on finding those species (I'm from the U.S. so couldn't help ya).
Regards,
Corey
Thanks for documenting that man. That looks like a great set up and congrats on the fry man. That was some interesting behavior!! But pretty fish, great color and very well planted. Good show.

Wow, That's really exciting, seems to me that it is a very unique species and that you've stumbled upon quite a discovery! Good luck learning more about them!
Ted,
Haha, sounds good, I'll definitely be trying to make it down, I've actually never been down there personally, seems like a cool place though, so I'm certainly interested. Hopefully in that case I'll see you in August!
Corey
Did some research for you and stumbled upon this:
"All Apistogramma baenschi currently in the shops are wild caught and, so far, shipments comprise mostly females. This is useful, allowing the fishkeeper to obtain groups with the right sex ratio of more females than males.
Soft acidic water...
Ted,
Hey I saw on your blog that you'll be in Cincinnati, OH for a speaking! I live less than an hour north of Cinci and was thinking it'd be pretty awesome to meet you while you're in the area, do you know if there will be anything else going on at the Aquarium Club that day other than you...
Any chance you can get higher quality pictures? Either way, definitely get some pictures up for them when they show more color! As for the one blotch, I can only assume it being a miscoloration or something along the lines, but maybe someone else knows if it could be something else?
Wow, Adam, good job buddy! In the makings for a tank that will surely be quite awesome on the eyes! After you get the plant set up completed, do you have an idea on the fish you will add?
