Mixing S. casuarius and S. tinanti

As the title says, A few weeks ago I bought a nice male S. tinanti (4" long) and four juvenile S. casuarius. Currently they are in seperate tanks. The issue I'm having is the tinanti hides in his cave and does not come out. At first I figured after a few weeks he would settle in and come...

    S. tinanti LFS has...

I have a 33 long that is 48" x 13" x 13". Currently only inhabitants are a few cory's and a few tetras. Water is semi soft with a ph of about 6.8. Lots of rocks and caves. My question is should I buy one tinanti or three/four? I'm going over to the store soon and see if I can sex them...

    Nanochromis parilus update

Well its been a few months since I bought my trio and I thought I would give an update. I seperated one of the females because I thought the other two would pair together. She unfortunately did not last with my Mbuna's. I was housing her there temporarily and I guess I did not get her out...

    nanochromis parilus

Hi, I got a trio of these last week and have them in a 36" long planted tank. I'm having a hard time finding the second female. Is it possible the male killed her because he paired with the other? I see no visible signs of this and all pameters are fine otherwise. There are no other predators...
