I agree with Ted, I think it is a pair, I have two different types of Benitochromis and both types the female have a little color in the tail and the male does not. the color is at the top of the tail.
Ted, I been looking at tons of pic's on the net and you are right the 'bandewouri has spots on the tail and in the dorsal fin. There is a very good pic on the Krib of the 'bandewouri.
The bad thing now is that i have eggs from them. How do a lable these fish, should i keep posting pics, it...
I picked up a pair of Pelvicachromis taeniatus "Bandewori" at a auction over the weekend for 10$.
I also wanted to know if the Bandewori different from the Wori.
Here is a photo of the Bandewori
who`s going to the ACA with APISTO`S to sell
I would like to get a idea on who will be selling Apisto's at the ACA, so I can set up some deals or something. list what you have or email me jamdwalk at msn.com
I think it is a A. viejita over the A. macmasteri. The only thing i was thinking is that my macmasteri has extension on the tail vs the viejita has a round tail. But I dont think that matters.
I dont know if this is the right spot for this, if not I am sorry.
I am looking to buy some apistos, so if anyone has any for sale let me know. you can email jamdwak at msn.com. Looking for anything.
I was told the the A. elizabethae is what they call "polymorphic".
Does this means that there will be both blue/red and the white/gold males from fry in each spawn
just wanted to say hello and I hope I can get some good Info on these apisto.
I just moved to a new home and now have soft water to play with. My last house was a hard water place so the old world cichlids was the fish in my fishroom, now I am wanting to test the apistogrammas.
