Having 3 males in the tank will force 2 of them to lose color and pretend they are females.
As for tank size... the bigger you can fit/afford the better.

so, good news is i`ve got 2 females (i hope), the bad news is that next day the sub-dominant male committed suicide by jumping out of the aquarium, so right now a have 1m + 2f looking like this:
